I never would have believed a wood cutting board could save so much time for me but this bamboo one does. My knives stay sharper and I get a much cleaner cut, especially with herbs and things like scallions. I bought some food-grade mineral oil at the grocery in the pharmacy section and that keeps the board from drying out and looking beautiful. Ive had many cutting boards, including hard maple, and this one is definitely among the very best wood boards. Ill never use plastic again. Its beautiful too.

This is a great product. A very nice weight and thickness for a cutting board and looks so attractive. Everyone who has seen it in my kitchen has asked me where they can get one. Things cut really nicely on it, and it cleans up beautifully. The groove around the edge is perfect to catch juice from things like tomatoes or meat. Love the product.
Never go back to wood.

My Shun knifes were cutting up my old wood cutting boards. But this bamboo is holding up well. And its easy to clean. The only problem with using it is it looks to nice to cut on.
